Sno-Trails Snowmobile Club’s mission is to do all of the things necessary to promote, advertise, create, and maintain the recreational area in which we are located. Our goal is to maintain the best trails possible and to enjoy the fun events Sno-Trails hosts throughout the winter season.

Our club is located in the central portion of Sawyer County which includes the Chippewa Flowage, Lac Courte Oreilles and Grindstone lakes and the towns of Stone Lake and New Post. Being in the heart of Sawyer County means there are lots of fun spots to stop along trails that pass over beautiful waterways and are connected by wooded trails. The southern portion of our area offers wooded, rolling hills with winding trails.

We sponsor two main events each year:

• Kaye Johnson Memorial Vintage Snowmobile Ride –which is held the first Saturday of February. The ride stats and ends at Trails End Resort on Lac Courte Oreilles. At the 2016 event (the 10^th Annual), there were about 100 riders and nearly $4,000 was raised for the American Heart Association. This event is held in partnership with the Northwest Vintage and Relic Riders Snowmobile Club. Proceeds are always donated to the American Heart Association.
• Spring Bash – third Tuesday of March at 12:00 p.m. at the Lac Courte Oreilles boat landing. This is an annual picnic and end of year event with plenty of food, beverages and raffles!

New for 2017! Play the Sno-Trails Bingo/Scavenger Hunt game for a chance to win $200.  FInd cards at most Sno-Trails businesses.  Each week, different businesses offer a bonus “Selfie Square” stamp when you take a Selfie at their location.  Click HERE for this week’s Selfie locations.

Join & Volunteer

Sno-Trails currently have 35 business members and about 200 association memberships (family or individuals). We are always looking for people to join our club who would like to participate in our annual events and are willing to volunteer to help our club maintain our trails. Club meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from September through March at 10:00 a.m. Members are notified of meeting dates and location by email.

There are endless opportunities for volunteering within our club – grooming, brushing, organizing rides, planning events, staking lakes, repair work, as well as maintaining equipment and trails.  A group of volunteers gather every Monday throughout the fall to brush the trails and get them ready for snow grooming. During the winter months we groom every trail in our system regularly – at least once a week and sometimes more, depending on snow and ice conditions, equipment and manpower.

Annual Associate family membership is $25.00. Annual Business membership is $135.00. AWSC membership is included with your Sno-Trails membership fee.
