The Sawyer County Snowmobile & ATV Alliance

The Sawyer County Snowmobile and ATV Alliance is a non-profit corporation made up of 11 individual snowmobile and ATV clubs located throughout Sawyer County, Wisconsin. The purpose is to develop and maintain trails throughout the County and often in parts of surrounding counties.

The Sawyer County Snowmobile & ATV Alliance is the world’s largest single owner of trail grooming equipment. We build, maintain and groom over 600 miles of beautiful trails within the County. This is all done by volunteers who love the outdoors and encourage family outings on our trails.

Come to Sawyer County and let us show you why so many visitors return year after year to our area. We are proud of the job we do. Sawyer County is the place to be year round.

According to the readers of Snow Goer magazine, Wisconsin’s Northwoods is the best overall place in North America for Snowmobile trail riding and family snowmobiling. In addition to winning the Best Trail Area and Best Area Catering To Families categories, the Northwoods tied for second with the Yellowstone area in voting for Best Overall Snowmobiling Area!

If you love the sports of Snowmobiling or ATV riding, come see what the combination of our snowmobile and ATV clubs do!

Friends of the Alliance

Friends of the Alliance is a fundraising group for the Sawyer County Snowmobile & ATV Alliance. In 2019 the Friends of the Alliance program raised more than $18,000 to help defray the costs of operating the all-volunteer operation. In 2020 we continue to seek help paying for our equipment and operational expenses that allow us to make Sawyer County one of the best places in Wisconsin for those who love motorized recreation.
